| Would you have better luck getting your loan modified if you had an attorney or a loan modification consulting company doing it on your behalf? What if you try and do it yourself, fail, then have an attorney or loan mod company do it for you? Will they automatically reject you? Any info is appreciated..... |

| I'm not an expert on this, but I would guess that you would have a much better chance at getting a loan modification of your mortgage with an attorney or loan mod expert rather than trying to do it yourself. Just think about it: these guys are experts. They handle modifications of financial loans all day, every day. Doesn't it just make good sense that they would be better at it than you? Then again, an attorney or consulting company will cost you some bucks. Perhaps a lot of bucks. Does anyone know if you can try to get a loan modification again with an attorney, after you fail to be approved on your own? That's a good question. If you can try again, I would personally attempt it myself first. Glenn |
