Help with HomeQ

i called them today to get information on doing a load mod. they said that they have it noted in their system that they can't do it. they said they are just a servicing company and we would have to talk to the lender.they also said they can't tell me who the lender is. i had to send a fax (which I did) to get this information.don't i have the right to know who my lender is?is this normal?how else can i quickly find out who my lender is?we are up to date on our payments, no lates. we are just upside down on the loan and i want to lower the payments.thanks!- robert
