help my brother, now what

I really like this zinomortgage forum (http://www.zinomortgage.org). My situation is, in 2006, I listened to my brother and refinanced with ARM my primary residence ASC and he took the money as down payment for two houses also with ARM rate with WAMU. Now, all the houses are declined in value and I have three mortgages, but the two houses has both our names on the title. The payments are current with option ARM. I would like to get away from option ARM by doing loan modification (http://www.modifyloan.net), cannot refinance because house value is way down. Can I explain to the lender by blaming my brother for guiding me into this situation? I don't have any other hardship, beside this nightmare. Can I go to HOPE or ACORN get help? and what is the best possible solutions?
