Help need info

Hi I am looking for information about a company offering to help do a loan modification or restructure. How can I find out for sure if they are legitimate?They are part of the better business bureau but I think you can pay to be on there. I found them on a website but found later they are part of a investment firm. It made me a bit nervous. I just want to know if anyone has used them or can tell me anything about them? A family member is facing forclousure and has no time to do the research. I am to far away and not on the loan so they won't talk with me anyway but I don't want them to be taken advantage of.There are so many unscrupelose people out there that would take there money and leave them in the muck. I need help and fast.Can anyone verify that they are legitament?:confused:
