Default Important Loan Mod Question!

Will Chase modify/rate freeze/etc. my 1st mortgage with them (which is apparently only in a forbearance right now) before it adjusts next July if my 2nd mortgage with them has been written off and sent to collections? Please any input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

Ouch. I don't think so Mike, but check with a mortgage pro before listening to me.

As far as I know, your second home loan being sent to collections will place Chase in a position to deny any allowances on your first mortgage. that just makes a lot of sense to me, as a business matter.

Then again, who knows? It sure wouldn't hurt to contact your lender and ask. Have you contacted your mortgage rep for advice yet? I sure would.

Good luck pal!!

I agree here...The best thing to do is to contact a professional. It wont hurt to get the right answers
