need some help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi my name is heidi escobedo and i have been trying to get a loan modification since jan of 2008, but have had no luck. i ended up using my loan officer to try to get me the loan modification and the bank said they no longer own my loan anymore and only service it now so they can't do modifications on my loan, don't really understand that though. so i was wondering if anyone has been in my shoes with the answer they gave me? also has anyone used the lawyer posted on this site, i'm about to call because i'm getting frustrated that they don't want to help, when in my mind i know we could afford the house now but when it resets in feb of 09 it will be very difficult, need some help and advice, it would be appreciated. thanks heidi.
