Default Usbank First needs Mod... inviting transfer of CC balance...

I have my first with Usbank at 6.1% ( after aug2008 reset )...payments 795/mo I am due for another reset in aug2009... I must modify, my idea would be to negotiate to freeze the 6.1%. My Condo is worth about 125K ...I owe about 125K I have a heloc with PNC bank for 25K... payments 90/mo so I am upside down by about 25K I also have a 17K high interest credit card balance...this is killing me with payments about 500/mo Here is the question: Usbank sent me an invitation to transfer my 17K high interest CC balance into a USbank CC 0.00% intro APR for 12 months. I think I may be able to reduce my CC payments significantly...at least for a year...by transfering the 17K to Usbank. But... How would this figure in to my request to Usbank in future to modify my home loan. Will this work against me?
