Has anyone heard what's going on with American Home Mortgage since they caused the down fell of the housing market? I know they went under because I had a loan with them, then they sold it to Ocwen. I really got screwed with that loan. I worked out a loan modification with Ocwen before my ARM was due to increase. The rates are only good for 3 years...after that I am screwed! I don't see the housing market improving anytime soon. I've never been late with a hosue payment. But can't refi because is house appraised for less then what I paid for it 2 years ago. I would really let to sue that p*ick for doing this to me...as well as the attorney I used for my closing. I had no idea we where getting into a ARM until we where at the closing table. We should have walked away.
