Default 35 day notice in NJ?

Hi everyone, my mother just went through a divorce, and was awarded the house, the house was put up for sale the very next day, and hasnt sold. This was at least 6 months ago. shes been in foreclosure, talking with the mortgage company, so they know her situation. She is also on dissability due to illness and cannot work. Just yesterday she had a man come to the house and hand her the summons, which said she has 35 days to respond or something like that. Anyone else gone throuh this before? Im just afraid of whats next. The house has been lowered more than 100,000 and still no one is buying.
