Default Bail Out Bill - Will it help Homeowners?

or hurt?Any thoughts on if it might help with the little guys? If we bail out the mortgage companies you would think that the homeowners would get some benefit out of it? I got a Mod from Chase which essentially raised my mortgage paymnet. They wouldn't adjust my rate at all. I'm still at 7.75 and thinking maybe a deed in lue. But I've really been hoping this bail out package might help us struggling home owners.I keep reading the news updates on line just hoping and praying
