Countrywide/need loan modfor 1st & 2nd/thnk its too late hi, my gosh i dont know where to begin, im new here, i own a building which i currently live in with my husband and 2 kids in chicago, il, i have a pay option arm that i was paying the lowest payment on, and of course now i realized that theres negative amoritzation, and a heloc that i was paying interest only on, the 1st is for $450,000 and the 2nd is for $100,000. anywho, my story begins august 2007we stopped getting paid rent by one of our tenants and the other one moved out at the last minute and didnt pay me his last month rent. so hes gone and i have to start eviction proceedings with the other one, turns out, she knows that landlords have no rights and tenants do, so to make a long story short, not only did she live there for free for 6 months, but i had to incur thousands of dollars in lawyer fees, to end up having to pay HER $2100. so during this time i dont have any money to pay my mortgage or my heloc with countrywide, plus i was out of work due to a back injury so i wasnt getting any income and my husband is self employed so his income varies, i have been trying to work with them during this whole time and like so many others, kept getting the run around, first told i didnt qualify, then i did, someone will call us back, ive sent my financials over so many times i lost count. its been a year and i think its too late for me, i was given foreclosure papers and i responded and i have a court date for november 2008. but i dont think they'll or anyone else will work with me because its been so long since i paid, i just didnt have the money due to all of the legal costs, etc and no rental income. now i have one tenant and i just found another one, and im working again, but is it too late?????? ive called them so many times, i am going to email to those email addresses from other posts, i just feel so lost and i dont know what to do in court in november, please help!! |
