Default Desperate Homeowner

Please read below letter sent to Fremont Loan& Investments back in April 2008. I recently learned they are transferring their loans to Lipton Services which I called and they do not have my info yet. Fremont's lines are always busy. I cannot reach them. Please Help. Who can I complain to. :(Read as follows:Mr. Michael BennettSupervisor for the Loss Litigation Dept.Mr. Bennett:I am struggling and making every effort to keep my house. I do not want it to go to foreclosure. Back on February 8, 2008 I submitted a hardship letter along with a financial statement to try get a modification done on my loans (80/20). On April 4, 2008 I was served with court papers saying that the house is ready to go into foreclosure. I have been on the phone with Fremont several times checking on the status of my modification application. Customer Service always stated that it was in process and not to worry. Although, I was served with the court papers the system still showed as pending for modification. In anycase, I received paperwork for the modification on Saturday, April 19, 2008 where they wanted me to sign on or before the 18th. (I received it a day late) As my hardship letter states I just began working in January 2008. My job involves traveling out of state Monday through Friday. I am trying to get back on my feet. I spoke with Ms. Lorraine Beltierra , Loss Mitigation Specialist @ 866-484-0291 X. 5696 on Thursday, April 24, 2008. She was kind and patient for the long distance call connection was terrible, but after several tries we managed to talk. I requested a re-restructuring of the loan and advised her I cannot make payments. I presently hold two loans.(80/20) The house is worth as much as what I owe on the first loan ($430,599.01). I am begging can you approve me paying the first loan and dismissing the second loan The bank would get it's share back when I am ready to sell. Or is there a better way? I am so desperate and sorry to say I cannot pay the $3,343.17 per month. I can afford a maximum of $2,700.00, She states she cannot help me and asked me to sign the modification by today or else she would cancel it. I don’t understand ….is it not to the best interest of Fremont not to take the house away. I cannot sign the present approved modification. I am begging you please, I still have my daughter to put through school. I do not want to loose my home. Can you help me please. I know and realize their are thousands of people in this situation today, but there are a lot of people who are also abandoning their homes. I on the other hand I am not ignoring the debt. I just ask for your review/analysis where it can be affordable to me. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely
