Hey every one today July 03, got first and second loan modification through emc, I did this myself, was relentless and didn't give up. Some tips , although this is a very trying time for us ,please be nice, you'll be heard they have also stopped most of the shifting around, people seem like they are there to work now, may be they needed a little house cleaning. Just a little pun there. However I started 4-28-08 and July 03,08 they were both approved and signed and sent back paperwork today, they gave me a great deal, I couldn't be more happy , had a horrible loan,from a fraudulent loan officer and broker, from $3500.00 to $2100.00 a month for both at 5.0% first and second , I was handled by Sarah Howard, who was great and Lavanda Williams whom I had to mention because they both were very sweet to me and really seem to know and feel what was happening here. so fortunate payment starts July 1st, I already feel relief and know will sleep tonight. My experience was a good one , took two months they said three, but you have to work on it every day, start with hardship letter and monthly budget take time , cant have too much excess and should not have too little, left after paying mortgage and all bills. Remember they are there to help you and you'll find that most of them are very polite and helpful now. the number used was 1- 866-418-5901 loan modification department , ask to speak with Sarah Howard x4285 She was great.She actually worked on this three weeks ago and I have the final results to show. the fax number to send all paperwork is 917-849-2677. It is possible they may get misplaced the first time or some of the documents may come up missing , constantly call everyday until you get someone who tells you they have a complete packet of information requested. Then start calling at maybe the end of the first week, there after every two days until it is done one way or another. Some of these people are working on 200 to 300 cases alone, they really are trying to help now. I have given all the info to get started and hope everyone the very best.
