| We can do a short-sale or short-refi for you, but if you're trying to stop a foreclosure, you need a lawyer. Try the Law Offices of Peter Beattie, 888-984-4111. In NYS, they are the law firm my company uses for all of our foreclosure related needs. They are great about filing orders to show cause, actually showing up on time and arguing them, and best of all, they're pretty cheap. They also handle all types of other R.E. matters, from closings & contracts, to liz pendens and evictions...
