GMAC-Need Help PLEASE

We have been in our home for 2.5 years. It is our first house and have a FHA Loan at 6.9% fixed 30 year. We were able to afford our payment when we purchased the house but it was a long hard road for 8 years to get our credit even close enough to qualify and we did by the skin of our teeth. I was unaware about homestead exemption and did not file it so this year our payment increased $200.00. At the time this happened we were already behind. We have tried selling but nothing is happening in the market here. Here is our story, maybe someone can help us Our daughter has no immune system (boy in a bubble type disease) she now needs 3 iv's weekly to be able to go to school and have a normal childhood. The cost is great and we will owe Shands $$ for the rest of our life but wouldn't change a thing. She became ill again and it took a long time for her to recover and I couldn't work. After this I became pregnant and was on 6mo of bedrest. I lost my job permanently because of this and I worked just to help our medical bills out. Our county/area is in a very bad recession. Business are closing, the 2 main employers in the county closed leaving thousands out of work so there is no work here. My husbands hours were cut, but we need the job for her insurance. The insurance isn't great but it is insurance. It only covers 50% and her main drug is $4,566 a week. There are only 4 companies in the world that make it :( We have applied for Loan Modification, Help, Payment arrangements. We have been to our church etc... I keep getting the run around with default division. Someone will call you. someone will call you. I call weekly and get the same thing. I filled out the financial paperwork and they said we might qualify for something, not sure what, but I can't get the people to call me back and it has been 8 weeks. Now we have a foreclosure letter that if we do not get a payment in by next week, they will start the process :( What can I do. I emailed Jabid Debari and he said someone would contact me.Is there anyhelp or anything I am not doing????Do they take extreme medical cases into consideration??? Our house was modified for our daughter with special flooring, air filters etc... and is a clean environment, to leave our house would be detremental. Thanks for listening.Tanya
