Help! about to be foreclosed

I am just happy that I have found this place to vent out, ask for helpful hints, and hope would find answers for my questions. I have lost my job, I am now two months behind on my mortgage payments, it doesnt look promising on my job search because I live in a small city. Today I have recieved a letter from GMAC giving me options, such as; Loan modification etc. But After seeing the clip from the You tube about fighting the foreclosure procedure; by asking the lender to produce the original copy of the note with my signature, and that the lender would not be able to show any of these proof, then it stops the foreclosure procedure. The clip did not say anything what is next, but I thought that was a very good eye opener for every home owner that has no other option. I am not running away from my responsibilities nor suggesting that one should run away from any responsibilities. I just don't have no means to pay my monthly dues this time, I have family to feed and have other bills to pay, so I really don't feel that I should be obliged to pay just the principal and hold off the interest and become a slave forever, I am talking bout the option on Loan modification as well as the other options. I wish they would include an option to just freeze anything until I can find me a job. because I know I will find one soon. I'm sure someone know of what I am talking about going to court and fight the foreclosure procedure. Would someone please tell me if what I have seen from that you tube clip is true? and what is next? I would appreciate any help.
