I am currently working with my lender on a loan modification. I was told that I needed 14,800.,( they need a min of 30%of my past due amount ) of which I only have 5000.00. I was then told that I would need to send in this money with NO,approval. Does this seem right?What is the normal amount the you need to have for a loan modification to work??? I got behind due to my child's illness, and lost work time. I filed chapter 13, during that time my intrest rate went from 8.5 to 11. I got behind. To make a long story short. Refiled chapter 13, which was dismissed due to length of time between fillings My only option now is to work with the lender. I have a sale date of May 11. Any suggestions.. I am still hopeful after being in this place, for some time.
