Default How do Realtors know before bank has filed?

Hello, How would realtors (or others) know about a pre-foreclosure or foreclosure if the bank has not filed the trustee notice? We have received some odd mail that made me worried the bank has made decisions that are different than what we have been discussing, so I checked public recordings in our name and tryed to search through the Bank's public recordings but did not find anything. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!
