How to Reply to the Writ of Scire Facias

Hi all,We've (mostly our real estate agent) been dealing with the loss mit dept for the past few months and are really hoping for a short sale. We have had two offers on the house (the first was by an investor and the mortgage company wanted $15k more than he was willing to pay and the second offer was supposed to close 10/6 but the person who was going to buy the house lost her job a couple of weeks before closing). Anyway, I have received the "writ of scire facias" that I am supposed to reply to within 20 days. Does anyone have a template or sample? I really cannot afford an attorney. I don't have much of a defense either -- I simply lost my job and was unable to pay my mortgage. Is it even worth answering if that's all I can say in response or should I just let the default judgement go through? My agent has a promising showing tomorrow and we are definitely still hoping that an offer will be made to continue to push the foreclosure sale date off. Thanks for any help you all can provide.
