|  Loan Audit I requested Paiva and Associates to audit my loan about a month ago. As a result, they found 2 important RESPA violations. Since my interest only loan is about to reset next month (much higher than it actually says in my loan papers), these results will give me some leverage to negotiate a loan modification. I have hired them again to do that for me. I think that the fee they charge me will pay by itself if we get to lower both the principal and the interest. I'll keep you posted. |
