Default "Modification "Companies" Bottom Feeding Predators

I currently work as a Mortgage Investigator in a law office dealing with people in need of modifications. Every day I hear horror stories about so called "modification companies" . The money they charge, offering guarantees and promises, and then being able to do nothing. It is so disturbing and sad. Please do your research before handing anybody money. *_Do not fall prey to these bottom feeding predators!!_* If you are in a mortgage crisis you have two REAL options. Try to work with your lender or retain a BAR certified, licensed, REAL ESTATE Attorney whose record you can verify through the BAR Association or an attorney rating website. If you are reading the blogs you will see where you get with your lender. If you do accomplish a "modification" through your lender it will always be in their best interest. Only a reputable, licensed, Real Estate Attorney is working for *YOUR* best interest. Please help me not have to take any more calls by people who have been duped by these companies. These "companies" are out there preying on the desperate and confused. There is always going to be a fee for your modification through your lender or an attorney, but they should offer no promises or guarantees. PLEASE Do not give your money to a company who has no audit procedure and no legal history or foundation. These calls from people who fallen prey to this truly break my heart. As mortgage investigator at a law office I can offer no guarantees, but I can honestly tell you that you will end up with the best possible loan situation that you can have, based on your current circumstances. I was a teacher for 9 years prior to coming here and I can tell you I feel as much pride in my job now, helping people save their homes, as I did as a teacher. Sincerely,Mark
