Default My story seems like a lot of others here

In Feb of 2008, I was contacted by Countrywide and told that I should renegotiate my loans (2) into one, with a better interest rate. I provided over an hours worth of personal financial data only to have the representative tell me, "Oh, I'm sorry, I've just reviewed your file and it's too early for you to file for help". I was told I will have to call back in April. Called on April 1, and was told to fax last 2 months of bank statements and pay stubs to the workout department and that I would have to wait a month to hear from there. On 13 May, I call to check the status and am told by someone in customer service that I am ineligible for any help, because my loan is current, which by the way, until June, it has always been current, On 15 May, I called and finally spoke with Charise (SIC) in the Workout Department who informed me that my case is going to be assigned to a negotiator and that I should call back in 10 days. On 27 May, I spoke to Gomo (SIC) and he said "it takes 30 days for an investigator to be assigned, not ten". He also stated that due to all the work I had already put in, I should've already been assigned a negotiator. He then put me on hold, and when he returned, he said that he had now checked my file as well, and that the info I received on 13 May is correct, I am ineligible for any help because my loan is current. I asked to immediately speak to a supervisor, and after some backsliding and an excessive amount of time being placed on hold, I was put in contact with Terry Bowers, who introduced himself as a supervisor in the Workout Department. I explained in detail everything that had transpired up to this point. Terry Bowers said that "Countrywide is guilty of the madness you are going through!” He further stated that "you are definitely eligible because of your recent rate increase". He said that he would further submit this info for a negotiator to be assigned and to call him back on 2 June. Called Terry Bowers at his direct line on 2 June and left many messages. Near the end of the work day, Terry called and said he had bad news, said "I thought you were eligible, but I was wrong!" He stated that I had to be 30 days delinquent. I told him that what I was trying to prevent was ever being delinquent, but as of 1 June, I could no longer afford to make my new $2000+ mortgage payment. I asked him if I should call him back on 1 July and he said yes. I am a new step-father with 2 sons and a wife. I currently have to maintain a small apartment approx. 200 miles from my families home because work dried up with the home is located. I have done everything I can, as far in the further as I could to avoid ever being delinquent, but now it is cast upon me. Does anyone have any ideas how I should proceed from here?Respectfully,Brian ComptonOSC(SW) USN (Ret)
