Need Some Answers Saxon Loan Mod I will try to make this brief. First of all I contacted Saxon in October of '07 to see if there was any way to get a forbearance instead of the large repayment plan they put us on when we were 2 months past due. They said they do not do them but recommended talking to the special servicing department(not loss mit.) To sum all this up we were put on a modified payment for 2 months (jan and feb) yes it took that long to figure this all out and we ended up being behind even more. Once we made those 2 payments we were told that we would get a mod, WELL when february rolled around they said the lender wanted to see more payment history so they kept the same plan and extended it for 4 more months. Now we are here and they have switched reps...he said everythind looks good, but he neede a drive by appraisal, however a real estate agent called yesterday and came and took pictures and was going to comparables she said for her "appraisal" she said it is really not an appraisal. My main concern is why would they need to do this? My loan is for 93,500.00 and the value our county auditor has it on for is 59,000.00. I do believe it is worth more than that, but not the 93,500. Just wanted some input on my situation. I call my rep daily and he said I have done everything they have asked. I can not lose my home. It is a place our family loves and enables me to walk to work and take my child to a neighbor for daycare. Any help is appreciated!!!!!! |
