New BUSH Bill thats Goes into Effect 1 Oct

Hi everyone, I would like to know does your loan or your investor have to be associated with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac in order to qualify for this new bill that goes into affect 1 Oct 08? I'm asking this question because I received an email from AHMSI today (the first time ever) asking me to call them at 1-877-304-3100. I was informed that they are reviewing my file. I asked in regards to what...they stated they were reviewing the Principle and the Escrow which was requested by my investor. Does this sound awkward to you?
