There is HOPE.... I posted information about new legislation giving California homeowners hope that they can save their home for their families. For some reason my thread was deleted with the link. As someone going through this dilemma, I find it encouraging to know that these lenders are being held accountable to speak to US, finally. Getting lost in the shuffle in these loss mitigation departments may be a thing of the past. For all of you that will have time to read this post, please know that there is hope and don't give up. I thought I gave up, but decided to go one last round with Indymac. It is paying off and I am working on a succesful mod. Time is of the essence and if you are late now or think you will be due to ARM reset, call your lender now and voice your concerns. It is now California law as of Tuesday 7/8 that your lender MUST call or meet you in person to discuss a mod prior to entering your property into foreclosure. We are fighting back and I am glad to see it. Good Luck to you all and everyone on this forum is in my prayers. Indymacfighter P.S. Cat - YOU ROCK! |
