| I have been paying option 1 (min. payment) for 4 years now. I know not the best idea. I asked about a loan mod and that just does not seem to be affordable enough for me. I just recieved the application for the Loss Mitigation department, and will be sending in a letter of hardship. My question is; If I am declined for the loss mitigation work out, will they see that I really can't afford my mortgage and try to take my home away? I have until May 2009 before the loan resets (or option 1 is deleted) I just don't want to regret filling out the paperwork and lose my house because I opened my big mouth. Any advice? |
