Wells Fargo- Trying To Get Loan Mod.

Hi everyone, I have been reading the posts on this site for some time now and I think more than anything, it's helpful to be able to vent with people who understand and are going through similar things. To make a long story short, we relocated in 2006 due to a job transfer (in a different city) at that time the Real Estate market was not bad and we thought we would be able to sell our home in a fiew months and we moved into what we will call house #2. After waiting a few months and no offers on house # 1. We decided to rent, unfortunately after going through heck w/ two different renters we decided to try selling the house again. Again not even an offer, we ended up depleting our savings and could not affort to continue to pay two mortgages and stopped paying house #1 in Feb. 08. Due to the current state of the economy, my spouse is now working 3 day weeks instead of 5. We have decided to move back into house #1 since it is much more affordable. Wells Fargo has the loan on house # 1 and we are in active foreclosure even though I have been working with them for the last two months to try to get a loan mod.I cannot afford to come up with the $12K now due from the last 6 months and am hoping and praying to get a loan mod soon. However I keep getting the same response everytime I call I am told loan is under review and I just need to wait. and it is not possible to talk to the negotiator assigned to your loan directly! Does anyone have any suggestions as at this point the first hearing for the foreclosure has been scheduled. THANKS!:confused:
