Will I get a loan again?

I had a loan through WAMU about 3 years ago. Went through a short sale to avoid bankruptcy and the buyer is now my landlord. The agreement was in 12 months I would be able to buy back the home but not going to well. The landlord purchased the house for 30k more than what I purchased it for 7 years ago. The problem is the property value has declined and no bank would agree to the loan amount. The landlord also is going through a short sale for me to purchase the home back. I was told that I could get a FHA loan but it appears that I need A+ credit to get it now due to all the problems. Will I ever have get a loan again:(.
