Default Filing a response to foreclosure summons (PA)

My husband and I have been served foreclosure papers from ASC. We are working with Greg's office for a modification and will hopefully have something in place in the next few weeks. I still need to answer this so I don't lose my ability to fight the foreclosure if the modification is denied. I have a call into a couple of attorneys but I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can respond to this summons on my own (if possible). The court was no help and told me to go to the law library. I haven't been able to find any samples online. My audit revealed several TILA and RESPA violations. Thanks in advance for any help!!!
